Carl Starry
Spending his childhood hiking canyon creeks with his dog in rural Idaho, Carl was the son of a builder who instilled in him at a young age a deep appreciation for hard work, perseverance, and bringing designs to life. Swinging a hammer since he was four (pictured), we can say without reservation that he’s been “in the business” for quite some time. These innate qualities have carried over throughout his career in development and as a result, he is committed to providing his team, partners, investors and communities alike with a superior level of service and innovative solutions that can be implemented with efficiency and ease.
A graduate of Texas A&M University (Gig'em Aggies!) from the College of Architecture, Carl now brings over twenty-five years of professional experience to the table. His tenure includes significant roles at nationally recognized development groups, including Trammel Crow Residential, The McShane Companies, Staubach Retail, and Leon Capital Group.
With a keen eye for market analysis and a talent for managing complex projects, Carl has successfully overseen the development of over 12,000 multifamily units, totaling over $2 billion in project costs, as well as over 200,000 SF in retail space. In addition to multifamily, his experience in developing unique places like Clear Fork in Fort Worth and The Summit in West Virgina continues to serve as exciting achievements in his career.
